Felt Flower Headband Tutorial

Supplies/links:
  • elastic ribbon (click on this link and in the search box on the top right of the screen, type "foldover elastic". All of the choices will pop up) or interchangeable headbands (you could buy these already made, in the size you want)
  • felt

Make your flower:

*My friend Brooke, makes these too, and she adds a fifth petal at the very end in the middle. After she told me about it, I tried it and really liked it. Some of mine in the pictures have 4 petals, and some have 5. If you want to add a fifth, put a dot of glue in the very center of your fifth petal and twist the felt underneath. Hold until the glue cools. Then glue it in center of your flower.

Make your Headband:
Approximate sizes to make your headbands:

Newborn-3 months: 12 1/2 inches
3 months+: 14 inches

oh my gosh lizzie- I love all of them. I want to make one for myself- ha. I wonder if I could make one that is mroe adultish. I don't know if I jjust don't remember your other babies, or if Elle is just so fresh and new, but I feel like Elle is your cutest baby, but I thought that with Kate too. She is just so gorgeous and perfect. I want to eat her. that sounds so awful when you read it- but she is just so perfect- I want to squeeze adn eat her and kiss her to death.

Those are so cute! But not half as cute when they are not on Elle. These would be great for baby shower presents. I could use the flowers for my pins. :)

Okay, this post intimidates the crap out of me. Not the project but the pictures, the tutorial, the beauty of it all. It felt like I was reading a professional website, like Martha Stewart! Your photos are just so stunning! I'm so excited to see you. So excited. Love you.
