i'm still a bit shocked at myself.
i guess i have to go back. i knew they'd grow. but they're actually good. really good. no cracks, no worms, yummy, garden-fresh tomatoes.
and kate and elle eat them like apples.
i grew a garden this year. it was so so beautiful. really stunning, until it froze one night in december. what. a. bummer. it looked like i stuck my whole garden in the freezer over night and then let it thaw out. the droopiest little plants. it was so sad how fast it happened. i sort of gave up after that. let it go wild. but we still got these great tomatoes.

That's awesome! Sucky about the frozen deal. Such cute pictures. I love how they eat them!!! Love you
That's awesome. I'm not sure I'll ever have a garden. Everything I've planted has died and now that we're moving, it's not the most PRACTICAL idea. But I haven't given up completely. It amazes me to see kids in tank tops eating garden tomatoes outside. It is cold over here.
Wonderful looking tomatoes, looking very yummy!!!! Neat pictures such cute little girls. Love you Hugs
So cool! How do you get your kids to stay still in that position while you take a picture right in their face? I tried yesterday and Elle would always notice and turn away. Oh well. Love you! :)
I am sooooo proud of you!! Who would have thought it would freeze there!! How sad!:-( When you grow your next garden if there is any possible way that there will be another frost and if you hear about it before it happens, just go out and take a sheet or blanket and cover up your plants. don't take the blanket off until after the sun is up and the plants have thawed. It is the sun shining on the frozen plants that kills them. If they can thaw without the sun on them most times you can save them. How fun! love the pics! love and miss you
